If you're looking for a hand-crafted bamboo fly rod, blank, or just information about fine fishing rods, you've come to the right place! I also build a few high-end custom graphite rods and I offer complete restorations and repairs for all bamboo and graphite rods. Using proven classic and some of my own proprietary tapers, I am concentrating on the fine aesthetic details of making a fine rod. I continue to grow and learn every day as a human, a rodmaker, and a fly-fisher. Even after the thousands of hours I have spent in my shop making rods, I continue to learn, change and improve my rodmaking skills. Rodmaking, like life, is one constant learning opportunity and some days I feel like I'm just getting started.

Words can't describe the special feeling that a bamboo fly rod has, the only way to experience the magic is to hit the water with one and experience the thrill for yourself. My wife and I recently moved our family to north east Arkansas. I have a new bigger shop building and 5 rivers in my county (one is even a trout stream, the Spring River). We now have room to host guests at our house when they are here for rodmaking classes. We really wanted to raise our boys in a small town and Reyno has a population of just over 400. I have also taken a part time job as the Youth/Associate Pastor at Old Reyno Free Will Baptist Church.  Finally I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has continued to support my company through all of these years!
