Workshop This one-on-one workshop is designed to introduce participants to the  craft of making bamboo fly rods. The workshop requires
five days to complete (approximately 8-5 pm.) The workshop cost is $600
(or $900 for 2) and includes use of all tools and materials needed to make a bamboo fly rod blank. Participants leave with a ferruled blank with reel seat and cork grip attached (cost of components
 depends on personal choices, participants may bring in their own components). Some procedures require a waiting period (glue setting, etc.) so we
sometimes find time to get in some good fishing.
We offer food and lodging at our home for just $200 for the week (per
person). You will have the upstairs of our house to yourself and all
meals are family style. We can accommodate one couple or two
students. |
